r-day information sessions

 We are excited to provide our guests with exclusive informational sessions by West Point Event Experts, West Point Graduates & Army Athletics A-Club and to celebrate you and your New Cadet! Reservations are required, and participation is limited to maintain physical distancing.

You can attend any and all sessions, but please register below so that we are able to keep everyone at a safe distance to ensure the safety of all of our guests and staff.

    A View of West Point from a Grad & Grad’s Parent - 2pm

    Colonel (Ret) John Vermeesch shares his perspectives on the West Point experience and the things he has learned from the lens of a graduate, two time member of the West Point staff and faculty, parent of a 2017 graduate, and retired Soldier. 

    the abc's of west point special events - 3pm

    We are here to help you learn the West Point Alphabet (R-Day, A-Day, Ring Weekend, PPW, etc) with a brief history and description of all of West Point’s special events, and what they mean for your cadet and for your family, and how you can make the event more special for your cadet.

    Champagne Toast to you & your Cadet - 4pm

    Join us for a toast, gourmet popcorn, and learn how The Thayer Hotel can support you during your cadet’s 48 month experience at West Point. Let us answer your questions about travel to West Point and bookings, and we will be giving away an overnight stay and dinner for 4 at MacArthur’s Riverview Restaurant.

    GO army, BEAT NAVY!  A-Club information session - 5pm

    Hear from Army Athletics to learn all about Army Football, Season tickets, tickets to the Army-Navy Game, and all about Army Sports.
